Who we are
Velzia is operated by SmartReachLab LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy covers our website, velzia.ai, our pilot application, and the Velzia answering service. Contact: hello@velzia.ai.
Our website
velzia.ai sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tags, and loads nothing from third parties. Like any web server, ours keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for a limited period to keep the site secure and working.
Pilot applications and emails
When you apply for the pilot or email us, we collect what you send: your name, work email, phone, firm details and your message. We use it to review your application and to contact you about Velzia. We do not add you to marketing lists and we do not sell it. We keep applications for up to 24 months, or less if you ask us to delete them.
Calls Velzia answers for a law firm
When a firm uses Velzia, we process the calls it forwards to us on behalf of that firm, and only to provide the service to it. This can include the caller’s name, phone number, language, the facts they describe, and a transcript and summary of the call. The law firm decides how this information is used; if you called a firm and have a question about your information, contact that firm, or write to us and we will pass your request on.
- We turn off audio storage by default and keep written transcripts and summaries.
- During the pilot, transcripts and summaries are kept for 90 days unless the firm sets a different period.
- We use service providers for telephony, voice AI, language models and email delivery. They process data only on our instructions.
- We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia, or the EU and UK), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. Email hello@velzia.ai and we will respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Security
We use encryption in transit, limited access and multi-factor authentication. Read more on our security page. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected firms and people of a breach as the law requires.
Children
Our website and pilot are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through our website.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell pilot firms by email about any material change.
