Why we built Velzia
For more than five years our team has helped local service businesses win customers online. The same problem kept showing up: the marketing worked, the phone rang, and nobody picked up. For a law firm, a missed call is often a missed client, and the caller has usually dialed the next firm on the list before anyone checks voicemail.
Live answering services help, but at roughly $1.89 to $5.00 per minute they get expensive fast, and a message pad is not an intake. Many callers also prefer Spanish, and a firm should not need a bilingual receptionist on every shift to serve them well.
Velzia answers 24/7, runs your intake questions in English or Spanish, and sends your team a clean written summary after every call.
How we work
- Honest about being AI. Velzia says it is the firm’s virtual assistant in its first sentence. Always.
- No legal advice. Velzia collects facts and hands off to your attorneys, who stay in charge.
- Transcripts, not recordings, by default. Your callers’ information is used only to serve your firm and is never sold.
- No inflated claims. We are a young product. Features that are not ready yet are marked as planned, and we will not publish reviews or client logos we do not have.
